Xinjiang Fenghuang Diesel Storage Distribution Network Project is the first military-civilian integration project of China Power Construction. Energy storage system is the core part of it. Such projects will be widely used in the future. After technical research, existing sea-based products can be used. To meet the stable operation of the system in various harsh environments, Haiji also has the ability to independently undertake large-scale energy storage projects in such complex environments. The project includes photovoltaic, wind power, diesel power, energy storage and heat storage systems. The project is located in the Hotan area of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with an altitude of 3700m ~ 3900m. It needs to overcome a series of technical difficulties caused by the harsh natural environment such as the large temperature difference between day and night and severe wind and sand.

This project is an independent micro-grid power station with a total energy storage system capacity of 16MW/28MWh, which is designed according to 16 units of 1MW/1.75MWh energy storage system. Each 1MW/1.75MWh energy storage system unit consists of 2 energy storage converters with an actual output capacity of not less than 500kW and 2 battery pack units with a capacity of 0.875MWh.
